Xwerks Omega - Pure Antarctic Krill Oil
Omega-3s are essential fatty acids critical to multiple functions in your body. 'Essential' means your they must be ingested since your body can not produce them on its own.
The benefits to supplementing with Omega-3's are seemingly endless, helping to support your:
- Immune system
- And more
We use krill oil from RIMFROST which is sustainably sourced from the waters of Antartica. These krill contain high levels of essential fatty acids such as DHA and EPA as well as phospholipids and the important carotenoid, astaxanthin that aren’t found in traditional fish oil.

Krill Oil vs Fish Oil
- Both krill and fish oil provide DHA and EPA. In fish oil, DHA and EPA are bound to triglycerides while in krill they are bound to phospholipids, making it easier for the intestines to absorb. Absorption rates are so much better, that you only need roughly 2/3 the amount of Omega fats from krill oil vs fish oil.
- Krill has a short lifespan and live in the waters of Antartica, far from industrial contamination, minimizing any exposure to any ocean toxins, such as mercury.
- Krill oil contains astaxanthin, an aquatic carotenoid that gives salmon and krill their red/pink pigment. Not only does it have a list of benefits to your body, it also acts as a free radical scavenger, helping ensure your krill oil is as fresh as possible when you take it.
Unlike most fish oils, we know exactly where our krill oil is coming from. The krill harvested by RIMFROST is done on a single ship and each catch location is recorded electronically via GPS. This means we always know in real-time how much, where and when the krill has been caught - we can literally trace the krill oil in your bottle to the exact location the krill was caught.
RIMFROST is the only krill company with certifications from both Friend of the Sea and MSC.
